Terrafirma TF051 – Swing-away spare wheel carrier for Defender

TF051 is a swing-away spare wheel carrier for Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 Station Wagon and Hard Top models, 1983–2016.

It reduces the load imposed on the rear door by a large, heavy spare wheel. The carrier is attached primarily to the body capping and rear crossmember. An anti-vibration sliding piston assembly connects it to the rear door, allowing the carrier to move automatically as the door opens and closes.

The hinges use durable nylon bushes for long service life and a rust-free joint. The carrier provides easy access to the spare wheel and allows larger tyres to be carried.
